This company and network of subcontractors is dedicated to providing quality tree care services with a focus on safety, sustainability, responsibility, and conscientious business practice.

A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO BUSINESS

Holistically healthy business practices are the goal of Timberline Tree Care.  Cultivating community, real relationships with clients and coworkers, care for the green world around us, and striving for symbiotic business relationships are ways in which Timberline Tree Care strives to move past the classic business model to create business practices that are more mutually beneficial for all parties involved.  Ideally, this alternative approach to business will lower prices for clients, minimize income disparity among workers, reduce risk of injury or accidents on the job, and decrease our human impact on the environment.

Why the name 'Timberline'?

tim·ber·line

(tĭm′bər-līn′)

A geographic boundary beyond which trees cannot grow. On the earth as a whole, the timberline is the northernmost or southernmost latitude at which trees can survive; in a mountainous region, it is the highest elevation at which trees can survive.

Trees are amazing.  They are the most imposing and tenacious of organisms on our planet.  They cover our earth, especially here in the Pacific Northwest.  Trees can survive and adapt to live in the harshest of environments; particularly the trees that are found in the timberlines of the world.  This company is named after the spirit of those trees that persist despite adversity.  While a very necessary part of this work is to remove trees to make room for human activity and safe habitation, Timberline Tree Care enthusiastically encourages an approach to tree care that allows trees to persist and be a part of our human life and human spaces.
